Here is what to expect when partnering with Bel Air Construction:

1. Discovery Meeting

Purpose: An initial consultation to understand your goals, lifestyle, and spatial needs. (Conducted via phone, Zoom, or at our Design Center).

  • We listen closely to your objectives, design inspirations, and timelines.
  • We discuss your home’s story and how your family utilizes the space.
  • We review your inspiration (Pinterest, Houzz) and outline preliminary budget expectations—with zero obligations.

Why not in your home? Meeting in our Design Center allows us to focus entirely on your big-picture vision, utilizing our tools and samples without the distraction of your current walls.

2. Site Visit

Purpose: Comprehensive documentation of your current space.

  • For interiors: Precision measurements and photography.
  • For exteriors: Utilizing Hover technology for accurate 3D modeling.

Note: This phase remains obligation-free. Every detail gathered directly informs your bespoke design.

3. Design Meeting

Purpose: A complimentary meeting at our Design Center to review your project vision and budget.

  • Introduction to our team, our process, and our management tools (like BuilderTrend).
  • Review of a baseline budget tailored to your goals.
  • If aligned, a project retainer transitions you into the active design phase (this retainer is fully applied to your project costs).

4. Design Phase

Purpose: A highly collaborative design and selection process.

  • Interior Designer Integration: We visit your home to contextualize your lifestyle, guiding you through material selections (cabinetry, tile, flooring). Typically, 95% of choices are finalized in a single showroom session.
  • CAD Visualization: We construct a 3D model of your current space, developing 2-3 realistic design options based on your selections. Adjust walls, modify features, and view real-time pricing updates interactively.

5. Pre-Construction Conference

Purpose: Final alignment before ground breaks.

  • Held at your home alongside your Designer and Project Manager.
  • A thorough review of the project scope, architectural drawings, material staging, and construction schedules to ensure zero surprises.

6. Construction Begins

Purpose: Your vision becomes reality.

  • Utilize the BuilderTrend platform for daily logs, progress photos, and direct communication.
  • Materials are pre-ordered and staged on-site to mitigate delays.
  • Payments are logically structured (start, progress, completion).
  • We conclude with a comprehensive walkthrough, a professional cleaning, and the handover of your 5-Year Warranty.
